... I entered the heart of Sighisoara's citadel, just a few steps away from the old clocktower, and as I walked into the pension Casa Sasaeasca I couldn't believe my eyes .... There was a wonderful court yard inside the house, and I felt as if I had taken a step back in time. I was overwhelmed by the hospitality of the staff, and the comfort of the nine rooms, each with a bathroom, double or single beds with beautiful traditional furniture, all hand painted, and lovingly restored. Each room with cable TV, telephone and internet. This was definately the perfect place to stay while I explored this historical citadel.
